Creatives in Residence – The Hospital Club

Written by ClassicalWeblogs on August 27th, 2009

The Hospital Club’s Philanthropic Department opens its call for applications for the second year of the Creatives in Residence Programme.

Creatives in Residence (CIR) is a cross-disciplinary initiative. Over the course of a year, we help the Residents develop their current projects, give them access to our studios and facilities, help build their business confidence and expand their networks.

The Residents also get access to a Guidance Group, made up of Club members who specialise in everything from design, film, music and art to marketing, PR, finance and law. The programme is also a platform to collaborate and share knowledge with creatives from other disciplines.

Creatives at the beginning of their chosen careers are selected with the help of a panel of industry experts. Applications are open to a wide range of talent including classical musicians (2008/ 2009 classical artist is: Alex Nikiporenko, composer and winner of the Guardian Young Composers Prize and BBC Proms Competition); from FILM, and MUSIC to FASHION, THEATER, GRAPHIC DESIGNER, VISUAL AND PERFORMANCE ARTS.

All applicants should have at least 2 years experience in their field.

Details of CIR 2009 and the application form for CIR 2010 can be found at:
